In its first edition, the NFDI4BIOIMAGE wall calendar showed various images from the field of bioimaging. We presented the metadata records of the images as they were available and outlined the story behind the image. In the second edition, the 2025 NFDI4BIOIMAGE calendar now also includes images from collaborating consortia, showcasing how image data are relevant across disciplinary boundaries.
