OMERO Services
OMERO is a powerful open-source platform to securely store, organize, visualize, collaboratively access and share microscopy images and metadata. OMERO provides metadata support and broad format compatibility. We offer access to OMERO instances including extensive example datasets across microscopy techniques and biological samples through various open OMERO instances. Read more on the official OMERO webpage maintained by the Open Microscopy Environment team.
NFDI4BIOIMAGE offers access to different open OMERO instances each tailored to specific users and purposes. Learn more which instance is most suitable for you. The Trends-in-Microscopy (TiM) OMERO Instance is a rich collection of extensively annotated bioimage datasets from various microscopes created at biannual TiM community meetings organized by German Bioimaging (GerBI). We recommend to start here in case you are rather new to OMERO to explore examples from the community. The OMERO Training Instance addresses trainers and data stewards looking for extensive material to support and ’spice‘ trainings and demonstrations. The Rich OMERO Playground Instance addresses advanced users, developers and admin staff to test functionalities using standardized setup or contribute new ones.
