Call for Contributions to the 2025 calendar edition!
Contribute to the 2025 edition of the NFDI4BIOIMAGE Calendar! Submit your images and advance with your images on the degree of FAIRness.
Have you seen the NFDI4BIOIMAGE calendar for 2024? It is full of nice microscopy images (https://nfdi4bioimage.de/wallcalendar2024/) with their story around FAIR data. It serves an educational purpose to showcase how imaging data can become FAIR, what the challenges are, and which tools can be leveraged.
For the 2025 editiion, we invite all members from the community to contribute with images to create a new, even prettier 2025 calendar, advancing on the degree of FAIRness of the shown images!
You can apply with your images (of any kind) to become part of the NFDI4BIOIMAGE calendar. We also welcome images resulting from collaborations with use cases or other NFDI consortia.
Submit your application via email pointing to
- your image (under CC-BY),
- the associated context and annotations
- and a few words on the story behind the image.

Here is the cherry on top: all winners will have the opportunity to join a session on metadata annotation to learn its importance and contribute to our calendar with the full package: data + metadata.
