NFDI4BIOIMAGE co-organizing the IO-FAST Think Tank Meeting
IO-FAST (initiative for FAIR spatial data) aims to democratize spatial omics data to enable the community to share and (re)use spatial data in a FAIR manner. We will assemble leaders in the field and users to collect ideas, use-cases, pressing problems, solutions and most importantly provide a synergistic environment. With this community-driven effort we hope to introduce easy to apply frameworks and guidelines.
The newly formed European Society for Spatial Biology (ESSB) will have its inaugural conference from December 12th-13th, 2024, in Berlin.

As a satellite event to the ESSB conference, the initiative for FAIR spatial data invites to a think tank meeting on December 11th, 2024, to discuss how the community can share spatial omics data in compliance with the FAIR principles.
This event is co-organized by NFDI4BIOIMAGE, with Jan-Philipp Mallm from the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg (TA3 lead) co-chairing the event.
The event can be attended either on-site or virtually (with the exception of the use case discussion session).
